    We do the same in Morocco it’s called: “tafernout” and it’s a staple food in the region of: Souss Massa baked in a clay oven with gravel and it’s so delicious and without oil on gravels, they stick and you remove them with fingers without any precaution 😅 and yes it’s yummy 🤤

    We have like this type of bread in Morocco 🇲🇦 we called it "Tafarnot" 😋😋 I love it, we cook it with a hot small stones but in special place and in special way it's little different from this one in the video but I love it also 😍😍 I'm happy to see this video 🥰🤗💕

    Sangak bread was traditionally the bread of the Persian army. It is mentioned for the first time in the 11th century. Each soldier carried a small quantity of pebbles which at camp were brought together to create the "sangak oven" that would bake the bread for the entire army. It was eaten with lamb kabab.

      Sangak bread is the best, growing up occasionally my dad would go to the middle eastern/Persian grocer and pick up some Sangak bread and a block of strong sheep's milk feta.... We didn't have too much money but he knew how to eat good

    This is a good take from the traditional Persian bread Sangak, we mostly use pebbles(smaller than these) and we don’t put stones on top instead there’s a flat surface with lots of pebbles on it we put the bread on top and then flip it and ofc we love it crispy and some like it with a sprinkle of sesame.

    The Indonesian elders used to fried crackers or chips with hot sands. But this, is one is awesome idea
