Rybakina stuns all tennis aficionados with her sublime performance. Particularly, she has two large aspects to overwhelm her opponents. She has rocket serves and picturesque return strikes. She has formulated the most viable strategy in order to demolish Ostapenko in the two straight sets. Besides, Rybakina had a vast ascendancy in the movements of the rallies against Ostapenko. Well-deserved victory! Huge congrats to Rybakina!

Congratulations to Rybakina, linear and extremely effective play. Positive person with a good personality. On the other side of the court a screaming, gesturing, annoying and rude tennis player. What is the meaning of the continuous and incessant contestation (with gestures and words) at each opponent's shot that ends up close to the line? Someone can also try to explain to me the psychological implications of the reasons why Ostapenko behaves like this .. but I, as a tennis and sport fan in general, see only that she is an unpleasant person.

Ostapenko played a good match yet still got overpowered by Rybakina. Elena hits the ball so sweetly because her movement has improved greatly over the past year. The self doubt has gone and she's becoming fearless under pressure. I love watching her play. I just hope she doesn't have a sudden loss of form as it's her title to lose right now.

While I was surfing on the internet, I had simultaneously Eurosport running, so I listened to the match at first, though I watched the first game which lasted one and a half minutes, started watching again after 15 minutes. The first part of the match I didn't watch, I heard the commentators at least 7 or 8 times say something like: "Uhh, she's complaining again. It's every long ball. Everyone. The umpire has to stop this." Of course, that got my attention :D Those last 5 - 10 minutes I watched until rain set in, she at least complained 5 more times, even about balls that landed several inches in front of the base line. (Got only slightly better at the beginning of the second set.) Then we take her gestures signalling how much it was out, the real spots of the bounces, compare them and we come to the conclusion that the linesmen as well as the umpire were missing more than 10!!! calls by a margin of 10 - 15 inches. In Ostapenko's eyes at least 🤣 A Top 15 tennis pro (when not on LSD) can't misjudge that often, by 10 or more inches, impossible! Though I dislike Ostapenko not nearly as much as many in the comments do, to me that was gamesmanship from the get go, as the first points already showed her insecure, she probably realized after this first game, that today she will be overpowered, without chance. It was the attempt to get under Rybakina's skin and make her react emotionally (negative), as Rybakina is a very quiet and introverted character. She failed miserably, as Rybakina ABSOLUTELY blocked that nonsense out, cold as ice. Very well done, Rybakina!!! At times it was so ridiculous, I bet at least 95 out of 100 players, doesn't matter if professional or amateurs, would have lost it after just 20 minutes.

So fabulous to see Rybakina back on-form again - she's going to be a Major Player on the WTA Tour very soon! I used to be a FAN of Ostapenko's game, but her on-court BEHAVIOUR (for years now) is just so ridiculously immature! Yet again, she's disputing the line calls - *but these ones were made by Hawkeye!* Furthermore - *SO SORRY TO SAY* - she has put on even more weight recently! My partner (not an avid tennis fan) felt the need to ask: "Is she playing whilst pregnant"?! SMH! Regardless of all that stuff, I'm backing Elena to win the AO Title!

Ostapenko seemed to be a lovable person in that RG run few years ago but she's probably the most unbearable player for so long now, always complaining and crying and cold handshake, glad she's out, Rybakina as a champ would be really great imo she seems calm and confident and respectful and that's enjoyable.

I predicted this Rybakina score line in two sets on the Cam Williams site, when nearly everyone was going for Ostapenko to win why? The Wimbledon champion who destroyed Jabeur in the final seems to of surprised most everyone, including the media and ex women players who picked Americans or Iga to contest the title.
