With the way Rybankina was playing, Emma was lucky to even get a game. Power and precision!

She peaked at the US Open and was mentally stronger than the rest of the field. More experienced players underestimated her. She didn't play anyone in the top 10. Older players will not be making the same mistake again. This is a tale as old as time in women's tennis. You peak, win a slam, your game is then studied, your weaknesses attacked, you lose. Again and again. Emma is not the first and certainly not the last to experience this. She has been hyped up beyond reason but will need time to adjust to the tour. I hope she figures it out quickly bc these girls will fight hard for a slam champions scalp.

This is the Rybakina I wanted to see against Barty last week. She's unstoppable when she has belief in herself and trusts her abilities. Top 10 soon Elena!! 🎉🇰🇿

Elena is such an elegant and effortless striker of the ball, on both wings. Very calm and collected. So much power and placement. Emma had no answers, outhit and outplayed. I expect big things from Elena from here on out.

Rybakinas level was jaw dropping! A clean and effortless ballstriker. At the same time Raducanus shots didn't have enough bite to cause any problems. And she was often caught behind the baseline while facing great length from her opponent. And when she could step inside the baseline her shots were weak and Rybakina count counterstrike and Raducanu was too far infront. It led to the powerless shots and it was easy for Rybakina to dictate the rallies. Emma's serving and returning was badly excecuted as well. She was constantly on defense.

Rybakina's serves were far more solid. Incredible power on her strokes too.

Raducanu is in a truly weird position as a “newbie” on the women’s tour-a position that no other player in the Open Era has ever occupied, to my knowledge. She appeared virtually out of nowhere, with minimal pro experience and a negligible ranking, to manage the unthinkable: peaking wildly to win the (arguably) biggest title on the planet. Immense fame, fortune, and expectation have followed swiftly and understandably. Yet her “everyday” game is clearly not yet up to the regular standard of the tour. It doesn’t make sense to most casual observers, but to informed tennis fans, it ought to make sense.

Rybakina’s ground strokes were on completely different level than Emma’s…..Raducanu surely has a very tough road cut our for her….Expectations are huge from her ever since her US Open triumph….Hope she can endure the grind and find her form again…..

Emma's gone from the hunter to the hunted, and at such a young age, too. Her grand slam win was amazing, but it will hinder her progress as a tennis player.

I noticed since the First Time I have seen her in her match against Barty, that She was an incredibly powerful and talented player. She could win against Barty, and I am very sad for Emma. She was overcome from Elena Power and service.

Raducanu showed a very high level of tennis in the last US Open, but also in her first big torunament Wimbledon. She has the tennis, but she hasn't trained and played too much las months, so obviously she need to work hard on her tennis to come back to last year level, and go forward from there on. She is very, very young, and I think she can do it, if she really wants, she is very talented as she has proved to us. Just give her a chance...she is still a kid (do you remember yourself when you were 19 y/o?)

Since the US Open, where Emma Raducanu was playing to win, Emma has been playing not to lose. It doesn’t help that she now has a target on her back.

I've always thought that winning a GS wasn't normal for Raducanu (even though I loved her performance throughout the US Open), but to me, she doesn't have yet what it takes to be a GS winner, her lack of power was really obvious against a player like Rybakina who hits the ball so well/strong. Losing 6-0,6-1 sounds really nasty for a GS winner. Raducanu might be a fluke, and the most difficult for her is to prove us wrong by winning another GS against the very top players (which wasn't really the case in NY.)

At the beginning of 2019/20 season rybakina started so well but pandemic kinda effected her like everyone else. I'm so happy to see her again with great play. She is definitely big threat to top 10 players. I'd not be surprise if she reaches to the final at Australia Open, even win the tournament.
