Arts Festival 2022. The talented team gave us experience a magical performance 🎶
Watching a collaboration that comes from heart is an experience we want to share with all
Babakamp’ers 💚
Majnoon was born in Istanbul with a talented group of musicians uniting. They perform
together for the new generations, while preserving their roots and cultural values 🌍
Creating a bridge with their heritage and electronic tunes. They proudly follow the motto
“Music rising from the East”.
All their performances are completely improvised, created at “the moment”, along with
extremely talented musicians. Their soulful energies are condensed into sounds and
melodies conveyed to the audience 🎵
Oriental, ethnic, and spiritual tones are often used in their performances. Striving to reflect
the universality of music on stage, the group is presented under the name of ETHNIC
UNIVERSE💫
Exceptional visual elements accompany their live performances, to enhance the gripping
oriental spirituality of their sound🔥

The algorithms are mechanical and part of us: the unconscious. That's why when you are deep implicated in the feeling side of you, when the mechanical side takes charge, you're experimenting a godly emotion. It's like a perfect symbioze between these two mainly parts of the human being: emotions and logic(mechanic). I feel you!

They are all singing in Persian language. The first part is from Hafez, the Persian mystic and poet: آدمی در عالم خاکی نمیآید به دست عالمی دیگر بباید ساخت وز نو آدمی خیز تا خاطر بدان ترک سمرقندی دهیم کز نسیمش بوی جوی مولیان آید همی گریه حافظ چه سنجد پیش استغنای عشق کاندر این دریا نماید هفت دریا شبنمی When he sings, the first two lines translate roughly as: True humanity or being human cannot be reached from this material world (literally "the world of dust") A new universe/world needs to be built, and a new humanity... Please learn Persian for the rest of it, as the it can barely be translated into any other language without losing much of its incredibly profound meaning.
