Epic DIY Garage Floor Transformation!

Check out this epic DIY garage floor transformation! Full Video Here: kzonlines.info/up/meBeo7y7j5Cpc5M/bejne
Learn how to prep concrete for epoxy coatings and how to apply epoxy on a garage floor with an epoxy DIY kit. In this video, I will detail the process of preparing a garage floor concrete surface for the final coating of epoxy. This video will explain how to clean and degrease the concrete properly, tips for repairing large cracks and pitting in the concrete and how to acid etch the concrete. If you are preparing concrete or your garage floor because you want to finish it with epoxy this video will demonstrate exactly how to get that job done. Repairing and cleaning the concrete prior to applying any kind of epoxy coatings is one of the most important steps to ensure that the epoxy adheres properly to the concrete and so the floor looks awesome once you are finished with your DIY project! After repairing the cracks in the old concrete, I will be using the Rust-Oleum EpoxyShield garage floor coating kit to refinish the garage floor. If you are considering remodeling your garage or refinishing your garage concrete floor then this DIY video will come in handy. I will detail every step that you need to know in order to redo your garage floor with a DIY epoxy kit. Overall, In this Rust-Oleum Epoxyshield tutorial, you will learn how to etch concrete using Rust-Oleum's Clean and Etch Product, how to mix the 2-part epoxy solution, and how to roll on the mixed epoxy, how to decorate the epoxy with flakes and finally how to add an epoxy clear topcoat. If you are planning on redoing your garage floor and want a DIY budget solution this method will be perfect for you! For a few hundred bucks you can turn an old cracked garage into a DIY epoxy garage floor!

The process and finished product looks great. Short of actually replacing the concrete, it’s about the best you can do. My only concern is if and when those cracks reappear. Whatever caused the cracking, such as expansive soil, settling, moisture, etc., it will probably continue over time.

I have tried tons of garage epoxies for my garage/shop/workshop over these decades. And found rubber floor tiles for a garage to be the best fit. Cost about $400-500 but just works the best. Easy to abuse and replace if ever... I have rolled in tractors and even backhoes, even welded on them. I got the ones that you can use contact adhesive or not.
